Mona L. Lao
Mona has been practicing real estate transactional law for eight years, representing sellers, buyers, lenders and coop boards in condo, coops and residential purchases. She is experienced in short sales and loan-modification negotiations, as well as foreclosure defense. Mona has also represented landlords and tenants engaged in litigation or lease disputes, and has handled immigration asylum cases, from deportation proceedings through appeal.
Mona is a member of the New York State and Philippine Bars, as well as the Bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
She has a B.S. in Chemistry and law degree from San Beda College of Law, Philippines.
