Robert Chester focuses his practice in the areas of cooperative and condominium law, real estate and business litigation, landlord and tenant litigation, and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Newman Ferrara, Rob worked at a real estate law firm where he represented investors, businesses, and families in a variety of real estate sale, purchase, leasing, and financing matters. Rob also represented clients in a variety of real estate, landlord and tenant, and business litigation matters.
He earned his J.D. from Florida State University School of Law in 2014, and his B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Oberlin College in 2010. During law school, Rob was a member of the Moot Court team, and externed at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Admitted to practice law in New York, Rob enjoys sailing, exploring our state’s open spaces, and living in Brooklyn with his family.
